Late Policy: One problem set and one lab writeup may be handed in up to 1 week late with no penalty. Beyond that, no credit.
Exams: Closed book, closed notes.  Calculator use permitted (no stored information).

Students with Scheduling Issues:

The dates for exams are provided above and in the Term Calendar. If you have a schedule conflict with an exam (for example, due to travel for athletic team commitments or a job interview), let me know as soon as possible, preferably at least a week before exams so alternative scheduling can be arranged.  Except in rare cases, requests for rescheduling after missing an exam will not be allowed.

ECE 4902 Outcomes:

Students who pass ECE4902 should be able to:
  1. Explain the basic techniques of the integrated circuit fabrication process as they relate to analog design

  2. Explain the similarities and differences between discrete (board-level) and integrated analog circuit design

  3. Complete full design and simulation of a two-stage CMOS op-amp to meet a given performance goal in terms of specifications such as open-loop gain and unity-gain bandwidth

  4. Use laboratory equipment to experimentally verify performance of discrete implementations of integrated circuit design techniques such as active load, differential pair, and two-stage op-amp
