Lab Report Grading Criteria
Lab reports will be graded on a scale of 100; breakdown as follows:
Content (60%)
- Number of experiments completed.
- Accuracy and completeness of circuit schematics and theoretical
analysis.
- Accuracy and completeness of measured data including voltage and
current measurements, oscilloscope patterns, graphs, and tables.
- Proper comparison of theoretical and measured values.
- Inclusion of prelab work when necessary for determining expected
theoretical values
- Proper interpretation of results and conclusions.
Writing (20%)
- Quality of writing.
- Writing structure and organization.
- Ease of comprehension.
- Conciseness
- Spelling and grammar.
Format (20%)
- Title Information
- Page Numbers
- Labels (graphs, tables, schematics, figures, etc.)
- Equipment List
- Experiment Introduction
- Circuit Descriptions
- Measurement Results
- Discussions
- Conclusions
